MITSUBISHI LANCER EVO X TO HIT INDIAN MARKET LATER THIS YEAR



Yes the news is true, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation has announced the launch of the Evo X sedan in India this year,and it has been confirmed by a official spokesperson. Mitsubishi has not been very successful in Indian market, In a new strategy the company is restructuring its current sets of model in India. The car would be brought as CBU and it is believed that it  has already completed the homologation at ARAI.



This dream machine for most of speed enthusiasts can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in a mere 3.8 seconds and go upto 250 Kmph at places where possible. The car has lightweight aluminum 2.0-litre turbocharged MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing Electronic Control) petrol engine which pumps 403bhp and 387lb.ft of torque.The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X FQ-400 is the is the most hasty version of Mitsubishi's motorsport derived machine.

Mitsubishi’s official spokesperson confirmed of the upcoming launch of the Evo X sedan. He said, “Yes, the story is true and we will be launching it in a CBU form later this year. All details will be shared later.”
Evo X is purely a performance machine and for those who cannot afford high end products like Porsche this is "ordinary man’s performance car dream turning reality".The Evo X will be available with all active wheel control, that can distribute the torque among four wheels according to different driving conditions.

EVO X will be available in 5-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed twin clutch transmission. The price has not been revealed but reports suggest it to be approximately Rs 30 lacs.
